Mabel Fowler

    Assistant Men's & Women's Swimming Coach
Mabel Fowler joins the Swarthmore College men’s and women’s swimming staff as an assistant coach for the 2022-23 season.

Prior to arriving at Swarthmore, she was a three-sport athlete at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. In the pool, Mabel was a three time NCAA qualifier, and a five-time All-American, closing out a five year collegiate career. Mabel earned a bachelor's degree in Human Communication at Trinity University in 2021. Graduating with her Masters Degree in Education in 2022, Mabel brings a fresh perspective to the staff.

For the past three summers, Mabel has been the Head Coach for the Alamo Heights Pool Sharks in San Antonio, Tx. Mabel also served as the Head Counselor for the Dave Salo Swim Camp at the University of Southern California in 2019. 

Mabel is passionate about learning and taking on new challenges. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, running, cycling and golfing. Her goals for this year are to assist the team to win the Centennial Conference titles on both the men's and women's side as well as qualify athletes for NCAA championships.
