Tom Brooks joined the Swarthmore coaching staff in 2020. Brooks attended Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia from 2011 to 2015 and was a four-year starter at the Division 1 level for the Hawks. He was named team captain and most valuable player his senior year and was named to the Saint Joseph’s University and Atlantic 10 Dean’s List each semester while at Saint Joseph’s.
Brooks earned a B.A. in Accounting from Saint Joseph’s University in 2015 with a minor in Economics. He began his career at KPMG LLP in Philadelphia in the International Tax practice. After four years at KPMG, he joined the tax department at SAP America in Newtown Square as an Income Tax Analyst.
Prior to his time at Saint Joseph’s, Brooks was a four-year starter in high school at both Salesianum High School and Cardinal O’Hara High School and was an all-state selection his senior year at Salesianum. He was also a member of the Brandywine United, FC Delco, and Delaware United club teams which were consistently ranked in the top 25 nationally and won state championships in 2008, 2011, and 2012.
In addition to his playing career, Brooks also has experience coaching at the club level.
