Kevin Gallagher joins the Swarthmore men's lacrosse program for his first season as an assistant coach in 2014. He will work primarily with the goalies and the defense.
Gallagher comes to Swarthmore from Cabrini, where he played lacrosse for four years and was a four-time CSAC All-Academic Team selection. Gallagher's Cabrini teams also won four CSAC championships and made the NCAA Division III Tournament in each of those four years.
Aside from playing, Gallagher worked as an assistant at Bishop Shanahan High School in 2012 and has been a coach with Black Bear club lacrosse in nearby West Chester. He graduated from Cabrini in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in history with a concentration in secondary education.
