John Dukes began as the assistant men's golf coach at Swarthmore College in 2012-13.
Certified by the United States Golf Teachers Federation, Dukes brings a wealth of golf knowledge to the Garnet program. He began playing golf for the Upper Darby Post Office league in 1982. He competed in numerous local tournaments to raise money for local charities and organizations.
In September of 2006, Dukes retired from the United States Postal Police Force after 30 years of service.
Prior to becoming a coach with the Garnet, Dukes worked five years for the Swarthmore College Public Safety office.
Dukes also serves as the mayor of East Lansdowne.
