Swarthmore College Athletics

Jerry Haftmann has been a Swarthmore College assistant golf coach since 2022.

Before joining the Swarthmore team, Haftmann was an athlete on the Cabrini University men’s golf team; starting all four years. He was announced as the captain during his senior year. Throughout his career, Haftmann was named the 2019 Atlantic East Conference Rookie of the Year, twice named to the All-Atlantic East First Team, and named to the All-Atlantic East Second Team. At Cabrini, he also represented the golf team as part of the student athletic advisory committee all four years, and was the Atlantic East Conference Advisor on behalf of Cabrini University athletics. 

Haftmann earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and a minor is sports management from Cabrini. 

Haftmann is a member of the Golf Association of Philadelphia, participating in events including: the Gap Open, the Patterson Cup, and is the reigning 2022 Dupont Country Club Champion.

In addition to his time at Cabrini, Haftmann trained under a top 100 golf coach in America, and a PGA tour instructor. He is also certified in Capto level 2, Swing Catalyst level 2, Peak level 2, and he is also a Theragun licensed massage therapist.
