SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The No. 8 Swarthmore College men's tennis team rolled to a 6-1 victory over No. 10 Amherst College at the Mullan Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Garnet dropped a 6-4 decision at first doubles but took the win at both the second and third spots for a 1-0 lead.

Winston Zhang earned a 6-4 victory at the third flight.

Michael Melnikov and Lindstrom both came from behind to win their respective bouts at first and second singles. Melnikov came out on top 6-7, 6-1, 6-2 and Lindstrom grabbed a 1-6, 6-1, 6-2 success. The decision was Lindstrom's 30
th career win at No. 2 singles, setting a new program record. He surpassed the mark shared by John Larkin and Steve Tignor.

Nikola Galov went three sets at third singles and earned a 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 triumph.
Rishi Verma took his opening set at fourth singles, 6-3, before gutting out a tiebreak in the second, 7-6 (10-8).

Lalith Suresh played to a 6-3, 7-6 win at the fifth position while the Mammoths earned their only point of the day with a 6-2, 7-5 victory at the sixth spot.
