STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Swarthmore College men's and women's indoor track & field teams took on a competitive field featuring athletes from all three NCAA divisions at the Fastrack National Invitational on Friday at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Olivia Montini had the highest finish of the day for the Garnet, taking seventh in the women's 5000 meters with a time of 18:59.24. The senior held the lead at the 800-meter mark before falling back to the pack.

Charlie Schuetz and
Cohen Manges were the standouts on the men's side, finishing 10
th (8:41.78) and 11
th (8:54.96) respectively in the 3000 meters Invitational. They were two of just four Division III athletes to compete in the exclusive 14-runner event. Manges's time was a career best.

Theo Teszler came in 20
th place (1:56.90) in the men's 800 meters and
Kenneth Relovsky crossed 24
th (1:58.05). Relovsky's time was an indoor career best.
Isaac Chu and
Alex Thompson ran in the men's mile, finishing 33
rd (4:29.24) and 41
st (4:32.26) respectively.
- In the women's mile,
Elizabeth Page took 21
st (5:08.54) while
Ania Wong was 40
th (5:18.70).
