- Swarthmore broke open the scoring with two goals in the third period. Hoyer stole a goal in the 36th minute after intercepting a pass and then ripping a breakaway opportunity past the goaltender. Wiggins then added on in the 39th minute, redirecting an outstanding centering pass from Erin Coyle. The Garnet defense stood strong in the period and did not allow a single shot on goal.

- The Garnet carried momentum into the fourth quarter with two more insurance goals. Jordan tipped home a pass from Derrick in the 52nd minute, while Vasquez added on with a score in the 55th minute.
