EWING, NJ - The No. 13 Swarthmore College women's swimming team remained unbeaten on the season with a 157-105 triumph over Kean University on Friday. The Garnet captured their 47th-straight head-to-head win, dating back to 2019-20. 

Kate Hallmark headlined the afternoon with two individual victories and three top-two finishes. Weygandt was also a two-time individual winner, while Genine Collins outperformed another NCAA B cut time in the 50 freestyle.  

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Garnet opened up the meet in typical fashion, winning the 200 medley relay. The team of Maya Ambardekar, Elle Anthony, Norah Rutkowski and Collins edged out the Cougars' top relay with a time of 1:45.56.

- Weygandt won convincingly in the 1000 freestyle with a 10:35.26 finish. The senior beat out her nearest challenger by over 10 seconds.  

- Hallmark picked up a victory in the 200 freestyle, touching at 1:55.45. She later grabbed second place in the 200 backstroke with a 2:06.34 mark. 

- Cara Dominici was triumphant in the 100 breaststroke. The junior led the pack with a 1:04.86 finish, beating out her nearest challenger by over two seconds. 

- Weygandt returned to the top of the leaderboard with a top time in the 200 butterfly. The junior won her second event of the evening with a 2:06.37 mark and another dominant swim. 

- Collins bested the NCAA Division-III invite time in the 50 freestyle with a first-place finish in the event. The junior touched at 23.25 to continue her excellence in an event where she currently holds the second-fastest time in the nation. Later in the evening, she placed second in the 100 butterfly with a 56.86 result. 


- Riley Bacinski put together a first-place swim in the 100 freestyle. The rookie finished at 52.29 to add another victory to an impressive first-year campaign. 

- Cindy Wang led a Garnet one-two duo in the 200 breaststroke. The junior led the event with a 2:24.85 swim, while Weygandt followed in second at 2:25.43. 

- Hallmark rounded out an excellent evening with her second individual victory and third top-two finish of the meet. The senior placed first overall in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:09.43, outtouching the nearest competitor by nine seconds. 

- Rutkowski placed as the runner-up in the 200 IM with a 2:10.16 finish, while Sam Packard followed behind in third at 2:10.44. The second, third and fourth place finishers all placed within a few tenths of a second of each other. 

- The Garnet grabbed the top four finishes in the closing 200 freestyle relay. The team of Collins, Anthony, Mirabel Fernald and Bacinski enjoyed the top finish at 1:35.40.
