HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Swarthmore College men's and women's track & field teams had its pole vaulters compete at the Haverford College Tri-Meet on Tuesday.
The Garnet were victorious in both events with
Aidan Corpus earning first place in the men's competition and
Alyson Goldbacher winning on the women's side.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Swarthmore had three male athletes finish on the podium. Corpus recorded a top height of 3.65m. He cleared the mark on his second attempt.
Ravi Sandhu took second place, posting a clearance of 3.50m.
Alan Nichols tied for third place with a personal-best height of 3.35m.
- Goldbacher bested the field with a mark of 2.80m. She cleared the height on her third and final attempt.

The Garnet head to The College of New Jersey on Friday and Saturday for the Lions Invitational.
