LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 10 Swarthmore College women's swimming team completed another unbeaten dual-meet schedule with a 198.5-62.5 victory at Centennial Conference opponent Franklin and Marshall College on Saturday afternoon.
The Garnet (10-0, 7-0 Centennial) went undefeated in dual meets for the fourth consecutive season. Swarthmore recorded its 39
th straight head-to-head victory and its 38
th in a row against conference opponents.
Norah Rutkowski and
Quinn Weygandt notched two victories apiece to lead the Garnet. Eight different individuals won an event for Swarthmore.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Kate Hallmark led a top-four sweep for the Garnet in the 500 freestyle. Hallmark touched the wall first (5:10.59) followed by
Lauren Rohde (5:11.59),
Ryleigh Vallejo (5:27.80), and
Cara Dominici (5:29.41). Swarthmore also claimed first through fourth in the 100 backstroke with
Erin Szuromi (59.16), Hallmark (59.55),
Marin Norlander (1:02.09), and
Elizabeth Turner (1:02.53).
- The Garnet had the top four finishers in the 400 freestyle relay, led by the team of Weygandt,
Ava Craig, Dominici, and
Genine Collins (3:34.49). The 200 medley relay of Norlander,
Annaliese Chen,
Sophie Rodner, and
Mirabel Fernald came in second (1:52.80).
- Weygandt was the winner in the 100 IM with a time of 1:00.31 followed by
Sophie Rotival, second (1:01.05), and Chen, third (1:01.11). Weygandt also won the 200 IM (2:08.55) with
Annabelle Hoover finishing third (2:18.37).
- Rutkowski posted victories in both the 50 (26.52) and 100 (58.96) butterfly. Hallmark was second (1:00.46) in the 100 fly and
Ainsley Jane Tambling took third (1:01.05). Tambling also tied for second (26.71) in the 50 fly.
- Collins led a top-three Swarthmore sweep in the 100 freestyle with a time of 52.42. Craig followed in second (53.52) and
Georgi Mathews was third (55.36.). The Garnet also swept the podium in the 100 breaststroke with Rotival (1:06.06), Weygandt (1:09.26), and Hoover (1:09.92).
- Craig was the victor in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.82 and Szuromi was the runner-up (24.94). Dominici and Hoover finished first (31.42) and second (32.36) respectively in the 50 breaststroke.
Maya Ambardekar touched the wall first (27.48) in the 50 backstroke and
Mackenzie Tucker took second (28.65). Rohde won the 200 freestyle (1:56.48) and Mathews came in second (2:00.37).
