CARLISLE, Pa. - The Swarthmore College softball team dropped a pair of conference games at Dickinson College on Saturday. The Garnet fell 6-3 in the opener and 2-0 in the finale.

Swarthmore fell behind early in the opener and were unable to bounce back from a slow start. Kate Hart plated a pair of runs for Swarthmore with a two-run double, while Cassidy Cheong added another run with an RBI single.

The Garnet kept things close in game two, but couldn't come through with a timely hit. Sarah Schab and Emily Bertrand combined for six strong innings in the circle as they kept Swarthmore within striking distance.
