LANCASTER, Pa. – Swarthmore College's
Cami Wilson was selected the Centennial Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
Wilson was the top standout for Swarthmore at the D3 Shootout, setting a new school record in the 50 freestyle with a time of 20.58. He narrowly beat out the previous mark of 20.59 recorded by Alec Lawless in 2020. The sophomore also earned a runner-up finish in the 100 butterfly with a time of 49.12. Wilson ranks fourth in the nation in the 50 free and eighth in the 100 fly. His 100 fly time ranks sixth all-time in the Centennial while his 50 free time is eighth on the all-time list.
Wilson is the second Garnet winner of the award this season.
