Men’s Soccer Beats McDaniel in Senior Day Thriller, 3-2

SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore College men's soccer team picked up a crucial conference victory with a 3-2 win in an entertaining battle against McDaniel College on Saturday night.

The program honored seniors Matthew Loreg, Leo Hecht, Stathis Kalathias, Brandon Cramblit, Antonio Callegari, Freddie Lin, Bless Tumushabe and Oliver Garcia before the start of today's match. These eight individuals were recognized for their outstanding contributions and dedication to the men's soccer program over the past four years.

The Garnet also recognized Design FC by wearing special edition jerseys created in collaboration with the non-profit organization. Design FC, which was founded by Swarthmore Soccer alum Omri Gal, works with local middle and highschool students to foster creative expression and storytelling through the design of sports jerseys and apparel.

This season the Swarthmore men's soccer team participated in a day-long Design FC jersey workshop, creating a unique jersey that represents the identity of every player, the team as a whole, and the history and values of the program.
