SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's basketball team had their four-game win streak come to an end with a 55-40 loss versus Haverford College on Wednesday night.
Alyssa Hayashi led the way with 15 points and 10 rebounds for her first collegiate double-double, while
Dana Bandurick added 10 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bandurick tied the game up at six with a jumper with 6:11 left in the opening quarter. The Fords then responded with an 11-2 run as they ended the opening quarter with an 11-point advantage, 21-10.

Kim Kockenmeister and Hayashi added back-to-back scores to trim the Garnet deficit to seven points in the second quarter. However, Haverford once again built its lead back to 11 points as they went into intermission, 29-18.
- Haverford continued to control the pace of play in the third quarter. The Fords won the quarter 12-6, while maintaining a double-digit lead for the entire stanza.
- Midway through the fourth quarter, Hayashi drained a three-pointer to trim the Garnet deficit to 16 points. Bandurick then knocked down a pair of free throws on back-to-back possessions to pull within 14 points. However, Swarthmore was unable to pull any closer to the Fords.
