SWARTHMORE, Pa. - No. 19 Swarthmore College Women's Swimming defeated Dickinson College, 206-55, as the Garnet celebrated Senior Day at Ware Pool. Swarthmore improves 6-0 overall and 6-0 in Centennial Conference action, while the Red Devils drop to 5-4 and 3-3.
Prior to the meet, head coach
Karin Colby and the rest of the coaching staff honored five members of the Class of 2022.

Alexa Specht,
Riley Thompson and
Annie Wixted were praised for their dedication to the program, as well as their academic achievements.
All 14 events competed on Saturday saw the Garnet take first-place in all of them.
Lyn
Sophie Rotival, and
Annaliese Chen each won a pair of events. In the 200-free, Lyn recorded a time of 1:57.41. Later in the meet, the senior earned the victory in the 500-free with a mark of 5:19.42.
Rotival marked a first place finish in the free with a time of 24.87, and in the 200-breast with a mark of 2:27.91. Thompson added a time of 2:52.95 in the 200-breast, and 1:17.89 in the 100-back. Chen added a time of 59.17 in the 100-fly and a mark of 2:10.27 in the 200-fly.
In the 200-medley relay, Swarthmore earned the top three times. Rotival,
Ashley Wong,
Gaby Ma and
Liz Gallagher won the event in 1:49.54.
Lexi Duffy,
Annabella Boardman,
Lauren Rohde and
Sarah Conley finished in second in 1:51.64, while Chen,
Paige Poteet,
Erin Szuromi and
Alex Comaniciu finished in third in 1:54.45.
Specht recorded a season best 1:04.82 in the 100-back, while Gomez also added a season best of 1:06.53 in the event.
The Garnet return to the pool on Saturday as they travel to Gettysburg, Pa. to take on the Bullets. The Centennial Conference battle is slated to begin at 1:00 p.m.
