PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – Swarthmore College Baseball dropped a single game, 5-4, to cross-state opponent, La Roche University, on Sunday.
The Garnet fall to 4-2 on the season, while the Red Hawks improve to 1-2.
Emmet Reynolds roped his second collegiate home run for the Garnet.
Holden Bridge added two hits and a run scored, while
Cole Beeker closed the game 2-for-4 from the plate with a run scored and a walk.

Ari Fierer each added a base hit in the game.
Swarthmore and La Roche will meet two more times while down in Florida with games on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Garnet return to the field on Monday with a morning game against Ohio Wesleyan University. First pitch is slated for 9:30 a.m., while an afternoon game is set for 2:30 p.m. against Marietta College.
