CHESTERTOWN, Md.—No. 31 Swarthmore College Men's Tennis cruised to a 9-0 win on the road on Tuesday at Washington College.

Each singles match only went two sets and the most closely contested match came in third doubles as the Garnet won in a tiebreaker game.

John Lathrop and Thibault Vernier captured first doubles 8-5, and Jiung Jung and Noah Criss won second doubles 8-1. In third doubles, Evan Han and Simon Vernier played to a 7-7 tie and then broke the tie with a 7-5 win in the breaker.

The Garnet only lost 11 games in singles action.

Jung won 6-1, 6-1 in the top flight as did Lathrop in the second flight and Thibault Vernier in the third.

Simon Vernier registered a 6-3, 6-1 win in fourth singles.

Noah Criss only dropped one game and won his match 6-0, 6-1. Evan Han recorded the double bagel with a 6-0, 6-0 win.

Swarthmore improved to 5-1 in Centennial action with the win. The Garnet host Franklin & Marshall College on Saturday at noon at home.
