SWARTHMORE, Pa.—No. 15 Swarthmore College Women's Tennis stumbled at home against the No. 26 Johns Hopkins University Blue Jays 9-0 on Saturday.
The Garnet held match point in first doubles, but
Sonia Varma and
Julia Gokhberg ended up falling 8-7 (8-6). The Garnet lost the other doubles matches 8-4 and 8-5.
Emma Kassan played a tight match at second singles. She claimed the first set 6-3 but dropped the second and third sets 6-4, 6-4.
Swarthmore flies out to Ohio next weekend to compete against Case Western Reserve and Kenyon.
