CLEARWATER, Fla.—Swarthmore College Women's Lacrosse won its first game on spring break, beating the University of Lynchburg 13-5.
The Garnet posted 10 of their goals in the first half and then cruised for three more scores in the second half.
Tess Wild and Kathryn Restrepo led Swarthmore with five points each. Wild scored three goals and dealt out a pair of assists. Restrepo scored was and delivered four assists. Wild also registered a team high four draw controls.
Sophie Peiper tallied a hat trick for the Garnet, netting all of her goals in the first half.
Julia Ostrowski, Elizabeth Wainwright and Mackenzie Frost all had a pair of goals.
In goal, Betsy Cohen got the win, turning away nine Lynchburg attempts.
The Garnet improved to 4-0 with the win. Swarthmore is back in action on Thursday in Clearwater against Piedmont College.
