CARLISLE, Pa.—No. 36 Swarthmore College Women's Tennis rolled to a 7-2 win at Dickinson College on Saturday.
Swarthmore swept doubles to open the match.
Emma Kassan and
Anna Scheibmeir won 8-4 in first doubles,
Shirline Wee and
Julia Gokhberg won 8-3 in second double,s and
Rachel Bronkema and
Ashley Gao won the third doubles match 8-1.
The Garnet won second, third, fourth and sixth singles in straight sets to clinch the match. Kassan won No. 2 singles 6-1, 6-0, and Scheibmeir won No. 3 singles by the same score.
In fourth singles,
Arya Jemal earned the 6-0, 6-1 victory. At sixth singles,
Ashley Gao took her match 6-1, 6-1.
Swarthmore (4-7 overall) is now 3-0 in conference play. The Garnet host Bryn Mawr College on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
