COLLEGEVILLE, Pa--Swarthmore College Men's Tennis visited Ursinus College and beat the Bears, 9-0, on Thursday.
In No. 1 doubles, seniors
Josh Powell and
Mark Fallati won, 8-3. Picking up 8-2 wins were the No. 2 team of freshman
John Lathrop and junior
Evan Han as well as the No. 3 pair of senior
Michael Song freshman
Noah Cheng.
In singles, freshman
Thibault Vernier was forced to a third set but ultimately won, 6-0 2-6 10-6.
Fallati (No. 1), junior
Simon Vernier (No. 3), Powell (No. 4), freshman
Jiung Jung (No. 5) and Lathrop (No. 6) all won in two sets.
The Garnet, now 5-7 this spring, welcome No. 25 Case Western Reserve University and Kenyon Collge to Faulkner Courts on Saturday for matches beginning at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
