LANCASTER, Pa.—Swarthmore College Women's Swimming earned a pair of Centennial Conference wins on Saturday, beating Bryn Mawr College and Franklin & Marshall College.
The Garnet out-scored the Bryn Mawr Owls 214-43 and the F&M Diplomats 146-115.
Swarthmore took first place in all but two of the 14 events in the tri-meet. Swarthmore's A relay squads won the 200-yard medley to begin the meet with a time of 1:51.60 and the 400-yard freestyle with a mark of 3:44.79.
Freshman
Hannah Kloetzer won both of the distance races swimming the 500 free in 5:21.98 and the 1,000 free in 10:52.11.
In the 200 free, freshman
Sophia Lee took first with a time of 2:00.46, winning by nearly three seconds.
Rookie
Hyeyun Chae won the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:00.45 and the 200 backstroke in 2:10.81.
The 100 and 200 breaststroke both belonged to senior
Maggie Eberts with a time of 1:08.41 and 2:31.93.
Clare Cushing finished first in the 200 butterfly (2:14.94).
In the 50 free,
Sayaka Vaules sprinted to first in 25.14 seconds.
Scout Clark won the 200 IM with a 2:14.52 time.
Swarthmore returns to the pool next Saturday to face Washington College (Md.) on the road.
