LANCASTER, Pa.—Swarthmore College Men's Swimming fought off the Franklin & Marshall College Diplomats 146-115 on Saturday afternoon.
The Garnet won eight events starting with the 1,000-yard freestyle.
Michael Lutzker won that event with a time of 10:09.66, winning by a cool 22 seconds.
The Garnet won the next three events as well. Freshman
Alec Menzer won the 200 free in 1:44.81, Jeffey Tse won the 100 back in 51.76, and
Alejandro Hernandez won the 100 breaststroke in 1:00.94.
Swarthmore later won the 200 breaststroke with
Chris Smith's time of 2:14.80.
Alec Menzer then recorded his second win of the night, taking the 500 free in 4:49.63.
Jeffrey Tse won his second event, the 100 butterfly in 50.68.
The Garnet closed out the contest with a win in the 400 free with a time of 3:11.42.
Swarthmore is back in action next Saturday against the Washington College Shoremen.
