GETTYSBURG, Pa.--No. 18 Swarthmore College Men's Basketball topped the Gettysburg College Bullets 75-58 on Saturday afternoon, making just over half of the team's field goal attempts in the win. The Garnet shot 27-for-53 (50.9 percent) from the floor and were even better from long distance. Swarthmore connected on 14-of-23 attempts from 3-point range, a season-high 60.9 percent. The Garnet stayed perfect in Centennial play, improving to 5-0 and 11-1 overall. Gettysburg dipped to 3-9 overall and 2-3 in the Centennial.
Jim Lammers poured in a game-high and career-high 23 points in 26 minutes off the bench, shooting 6-for-7 (85.7 percent) from 3-point range and 8-for-9 (88.9 percent) from the floor overall. Three other Garnet reached double figures in points.

Cam Wiley added 11 and
Zack Yonda chipped in 10.Â
Swarthmore jumped out to an 8-0 start, and only trailed for one possession in the entire contest. By halftime, Swarthmore built a five-point lead (35-30) with Yonda knocking down a triple with 39 seconds to go before the break.
The Garnet surged to a backbreaking 17-0 run in the first 6:10 of the second half to run away with the win.

Defensively, the Garnet kept the Bullets in check, limiting them to a 36.1 percent shooting rate from the floor. Swarthmore blocked five Gettysburg shots with freshman
Nate Shafer recording three of the denials. The Garnet also out-rebounding Gettysburg 43-29.Â
Swarthmore returns to Tarble Pavilion Tuesday night at 8 against McDaniel College.Â
