RADNOR, Pa.—Swarthmore College Women's Swimming cruised to a 196-66 win at Cabrini University on Saturday in the final non-conference dual meet of the season. The Garnet improved to 6-1 this season with the win.
Swarthmore took first in all but one event in Saturday's dominating performance. Clare Cushing, Amelia Tomei and Sarah Solomon all came in first in a pair of events. Emily Bley, Sayaka Vaules, Stephanie Tilneac and Scout Clark each added a solo win.
Cushing took first in the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:50.13) and then later also topped the 100 free in 56.61. Tomei finished with the top time in the 200 free and the 200 IM, clocking in at 2:07.92 and 2:21.48, respectively. The 100 fly and the 100 breaststroke belonged to Solomon who won with times of 1:02.35 and 1:13.47.
Bley won the 50 back in 30.97, Clark won the 100 back in 1:03.78 and Tilneac finished first in the 50 fly in 28.88.
Swarthmore is back in Centennial Conference action on Saturday at Gettysburg College.
