SWARTHMORE, Pa.—Swarthmore College Women's Swimming improved to 4-0 against Centennial Conference foes following a 153-109 win over Washington College at home on Saturday.
The Garnet finished first in seven events, winning the 200-yard freestyle relay, a pair of 100-yard and 200-yard individual events, the 400 IM, and the 500 free.
Freshman
Clare Cushing earned a double win, taking the 200 free (1:58.00) and the 500 free (5:18.72).
First year
Selina Ye set a new school record in the 100 IM with a time of 1:01.5, darting through the first 50 yards in 28.16 seconds.
Fellow classmate
Stephanie Tilneac won the 100-yard backstroke in 1:02.44 and factored into the win in the 200 freestyle relay (1:42.63) along with
Sayaka Vaules,
Kyla Hallam, and
Sophie Moody.
In the 200 back, sophomore
Emily Bley took first with a time of 2:12.88. Sophomore
Scout Clark won the 400 IM with a time of 4:50.68.
Swarthmore has its first mid-week meet of the season upcoming; the Garnet swim at Ursinus on Nov. 22.
