RESULTSGETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Swarthmore men's swimming team fell to #19-ranked Gettysburg College in a 175-87 defeat on Saturday, Jan. 31. Despite the loss, freshman Lanson Tang contributed a first place finish in the losing effort in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:02.74.
Tang also placed second in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:18.52 to lead the way for the Garnet. Freshman
CJ Cling took first in an individual event, the 200 individual medley, with a time of 2:02.88.
Gettysburg College took first in all but two events, with senior Mike Harmon finishing first in 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke, and contributing to two first-place finishes in the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay.
The Garnet (2-5, CC 1-4) will swim against Dickinson College at Ware Pool on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. in their last dual meet of the season. It will also mark the final home meet for seniors
