RESULTSSWARTHMORE, Pa. – The Swarthmore College men's swimming team fell to Washington College by a 141.5-63.5 score on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at Ware Pool.
Washington College took first in every event and was paced by Lucas Morgan. The junior was victorious in the 1000-yard freestyle, 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke.
Sophomore
Liam Fitzstevens placed second in the 200 individual medley and the 100 backstroke to lead Swarthmore (2-4, CC 1-3) in the losing effort with marks of 2:01.64 and 55.05 seconds, respectively. He also swam the leadoff leg for the 200 medley relay that also included freshman
Alejandro Hernandez, sophomore
Andrew Steele and freshman
Carlo Sivilotti. The relay came in second with a time of 1:39.38.
The Garnet will next swim at Gettysburg College on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 2 p.m.
