Madison Heppe eclipsed the 1,000-dig career milestone in a sweep of Dickinson College (3-8, 0-2 CC) on Saturday, September 27 in Centennial Conference action. Swarthmore College improves to 9-4 on the season and 2-0 in the conference after set score victores of 25-19, 25-11 and 25-18.
Heppe, entering the match with 993 digs and finishing at 1,006, becomes the ninth player in program history to reach the milestone. Averaging just under four digs per set this season, Heppe finished the three-set match with 13 to lead the Garnet defense.

Sam DuBois set the offense with 17 and 13 assists, respectively. The freshmen class combined for 29 kills on the day with outside hitter
Sarah Wallace leading the way with eight. Middle blockers
Alice Liu and
Bridget Scott swung a collective 13 kills and put down three blocks.
Olivia Leventhal finished with seven kills and three blocks, while senior
Chastity Hopkins collected eight kills and three blocks.
The Garnet travels to Washington College (11-4, 0-2 CC) on Tuesday, September 30 for another conference showdown.
