SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Highlighted by seven event victories, the Swarthmore College women's swim team fell just short of Centennial Conference foe Gettysburg College by a 153-109 score on Saturday from Ware Pool.
Today's meet was the last at Ware Pool for this year's graduating seniors -
Sarah Eppley,
Laura Fitzgerald,
Erin Lowe,
Maggie Regan and
Rebecca Teng.
Junior
Supriya Davis swam to two individual event victories - the 200 butterfly (2:11.30) and the 200 IM with a season-best 2:14.08 finish.
Swarthmore swept the breaststroke events as sophomore
Nikkia Miller took the 100 distance by a 1:09.42 mark and sophomore
Eva Winter finished the 200 in 2:33.36.
Freshman
Erica Flor swam to a program top-10 time in the 200 backstroke with a 2:12.47 finish. Junior
Kate Wiseman recorded the team's sixth individual victory with a season-best 100 freestyle time of 55.04.
The Garnet took first place in the 400 medley relay - Flor, Miller, Davis and Wiseman - with a 4:04.88 season-best finish.
Other season-bests were recorded by Wiseman in the 200 freestyle (1:58.98), Lowe in the 200 butter fly (2:19.75), Regan in the 200 breaststroke (2:35.18), and
Eliana Cohen in the 500 freestyle (5:50.25)
Swarthmore concludes the regular season with a trip to Dickinson on Saturday, February 8 at 2:00 p.m.
