Box Score HAVERFORD, Pa. – The second-seeded Swarthmore College volleyball team saw its Centennial Conference playoff run cut short as third-seeded Muhlenberg College defeated the Garnet in the semifinals by a 3-1 score on Saturday afternoon. The set scores were 22-25, 20-25, 25-14 and 14-15.

Alice Liu combined for nine blocks at the net. Freshman
Sarah Wallace earned her 14th double-double of the season with 16 swings and 10 digs. Junior setter
Sam DuBois recorded 27 assists, seven digs, two kills and three blocks in the effort.
Swarthmore (22-7, 9-1 CC) struggled on the attack, falling behind two sets to the Mules before gaining a third set victory. Muhlenberg (25-7, 8-2 CC) found momentum in the fourth set to seal a ticket to the championship match.
Muhlenberg's Allison Glass led the team with 13 kills and 17 digs, while recording three blocks and one service ace. Katherine Boll swung 12 kills and Vanessa Pulice set the offense for the Mules with 25 assists. The squad hit a match-high .370 in the fourth set (12-2-27) for the win. Muhlenberg will face fifth-seeded Franklin & Marshall on Sunday for the conference title.
Swarthmore, which is coming off its best season in program history, now awaits a bid into the ECAC tournament.
