COMPLETE RESULTS

SWARTHMORE, Pa. –  Freshman Sydney Anderson won both the 500 and 1,000-yard freestyle events to help catapult the Swarthmore College women's swimming team to a 130-69 victory over McDaniel on Saturday, Nov. 1 at Ware Pool.
 
Anderson narrowly outswam her McDaniel opponents, hitting the wall with a 1,000 mark of 11:30.69 and narrowly outtouching her opponent in the 500, earning a time of 5:35.67. Freshman Ashley Hwang also won a close race, finishing the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 101.30.
 
Other Swarthmore individual event winners included returning senior captain Kate Wiseman, who decisively won both the 50 and 100 freestyle races, and senior Supriya Davis, who took first place in the 200-yard freestyle. Davis and Wiseman also factored into the winning 200-yard medley relay that clocked in at 1:52.68 and the 200-yard freestyle relay, which posted a time of 1:42.19.
 
Swarthmore will compete at home again next week against Franklin & Marshall on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 2 p.m.
