Box Score SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The Swarthmore College field hockey fell to Haverford by an 11-2 decision on Saturday, Nov. 1 at Clothier Field.
In the opening seconds, Jen DiMaria found the back of the net for Haverford's first goal against the Garnet. The next five subsequent goals for the Fords were all shot within the first ten minutes of the game until junior
Erin Gluck countered the attack and landed the Garnet's first shot in the 15th minute.
Leading 7-1 at the half, Haverford (8-9, CC 4-6) scored another quick three goals all within 5:55. Swarthmore attempted to rally when sophomore
Jordyn Bell scored her first career goal in the 67th minute. The Fords' Allison Martin, however, tallied one more marker in the final minute to produce the final outcome.
Lindsey Lopes, Danielle Rette and Aby Frerotte all combined to make three saves for Haverford in the victory. Swarthmore junior

Ellory Laning also combined for three saves in the setback.
Swarthmore (2-16, CC 1-9) is slated to return 15 letterwinners and 10 starters next season.
