Box Score BALTIMORE, Md. - The Swarthmore College field hockey team lost to Johns Hopkins in a 7-0 defeat on Friday, Oct. 3 at Homewood Field.

Johns Hopkins (5-5, CC 2-1) utilized a balanced attack, as six players found the back of the net in the victory for the hosts. Natalie Vicas scored once in each half to lead the offense.

Junior goalkeeper Ashley Parrish had 15 saves in the game for Swarthmore with 12 of them coming in the first half. Freshman
Jane Blicher also recorded a defensive save, as Johns Hopkins took a total of 32 shots on goal. Blue Jay goalkeepers Zoe Atabek and Greta Helvie had three saves and one save, respectively, and combined for the shutout.

Swarthmore (1-10, CC 0-4) will play Washington College at Clothier Field on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 4 p.m.
