Swarthmore (19-5) took Kean in straight sets led by junior
Sam DuBois with 15 digs and 33 assists. Heppe and Wallace also anchored the defense with a combined 27 digs. Freshman
Olivia Leventhal led the attack with 13 kills, while senior
Chastity Hopkins and freshman
Bridget Scott each swung nine.
Looking for revenge against New Paltz (22-5) - after losing in straight sets earlier this season - the Garnet had five players with 15 or more digs and three players with double-dig kills in a very close match. Heppe led the way with 24 digs, while freshman
Malia Scott and Wallace each had 20. Scott, Wallace and DuBois finished the match with double-doubles.
Swarthmore, the only undefeated team remaining, returns to Centennial Conference action on Wednesday, October 22 hosting Muhlenberg College in a highly anticpated match.
