Box Score Swarthmore, Pa.- The Swarthmore field hockey team fell to Gettysburg College by a 3-0 score on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Clothier Field.

Gettysburg (3-8, CC 1-4) scored its first goal at the end of the first half off a rebound. Catherine Towers had her shot from the left side redirected by Swarthmore goalkeeper
Ainsley Parrish, and Kathryn Hardman scored on the open goal to give the Bullets a 1-0 lead at the break.

After the visitors doubled their lead on a strike by Hannah Fitzgerald, the Garnet had their best opportunity to get on the board in the 54th minute. However, junior
Erin Gluck's attempt plus two more by sophomore
Ursula Monaghan were all turned away by Haley Mowery. Hardman then tallied her second marker of the game in the 68th minute to cap the scoring.

Ainsley Parrish matched career high of 18 saves in the losing effort for Swarthmore. Mowery of Gettysburg made eight saves to earn the win.
