Box Score SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore College field hockey team conceded two late goals as the Ospreys of Richard Stockton (1-1) took a 3-2 victory at Clothier Field Thursday afternoon in non-conference action.
Swarthmore (1-2) owned a 2-1 lead for the majority of the second half, but a timeout from the Ospreys with just over 12 minutes to play proved to make all the difference for the visitors as they went on to tally two goals in ten minutes for the victory. Colleen Knight tied the game at 58:22 with an unassisted goal and senior Alicia Leadbeater notched the game-winner at 67:57 from Susie Balidemaj.

Nia Jones collected her third goal on the season after falling down and manuevering around defenders to knot the game at one goal each near the close of the first frame. Sophomore

Aarti Rao fed the rebound in the 41st minute of action to put Swarthmore ahead 2-1.

Gabby Capone made 10 saves for the Garnet in a complete game. Ospreys winning keeper Liz Stankiewicz made six stops in game.
Richard Stockton outshot Swarthmore 24-10 and held a 17-11 penalty corner edge.
The Garnet will return to action on Saturday, September 7 from Clothier Field in the 320 Challenge match-up with Widener. Start time is set for 12:00 p.m.
