Box Score SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore College volleyball team (10-3) earned a straight-set non-conference victory over visiting Rowan University (5-4) on Tuesday evening from Tarble Pavilion.

Coming back in both sets two and three, the Garnet finished off the Profs with set scores 25-17, 25-22 and 25-18 for its tenth victory of the season.

Sophomore Madison Heppe led the defense with 13 digs, while three other Garnet players reached double-digit digs - Swarthmore ranks fifth in Division III for digs per set. Junior Kate Amodei collected 11 - six of which came in the first set. Senior Danielle Sullivan notched 10 on the night for a career 959 digs.

Sophomore setter Sam DuBois, the conference assist leader, tallied her tenth double-double of the season with 33 assists and 10 digs on defense.

Senior middle Brone Lobichusky had 14 kills, including eight in the final set and finished with one solo block and three block assists. Sullivan finished with nine kills and senior Maggie Duszyk added seven, four of which came in the close second set.

The Profs were led by Casey Grasso on defense with 17 digs and Morgan Mende and Danielle Havlicek each had nine kills for the offense. Mende came down with two solo blocks and Elaina Hansen had two service aces.

Swarthmore enters Centennial Conference play on Saturday, September 21 hosting Dickinson College at 1:00 p.m.
