Nia Jones of the Swarthmore College (1-0) field hockey team tallied the game-winning goal during the 79th minute to give the Garnet a 4-3 overtime victory over Cabrini College (0-1) in the Drew Fall Festival.
The game-winner came at 78:09 as Jones moved from the midfield, beating defenders to score the unassisted seal of victory. She finished with two goals and one assist on the day, while sophomore
Abigail Lauder netted two including the an early goal in the second half to tie the match at 3-3.

Ainsley Parrish finished the game with a career-high 11 saves, including two big saves in the overtime frame.

Aarti Rao at 1:40 to notch the score at 1-1. Over the next seven minutes Cabrini fired off shot after shot - Capone made three stops - before finding an opening at 8:34 to take a 2-1 lead. Both teams would score once more before the break.
The victory was the tenth-consecutive season-opening win for the Garnet who return to the field at noon on Saturday to take on host Drew on the second day of the Drew Fall Festival.
