Box Score GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Swarthmore College field hockey team fell to Gettysburg College, 4-3, on a late goal Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference action.

The Bullets (5-4, 1-3 CC) scored all four of its goals in the second half to complete the comeback defeat over Swarthmore (2-9, 0-5 CC). The game-winning goal came with 1:49 remaining in the game from Samantha Wright.

Swarthmore went up 2-0 seven minutes into the second half with Nia Jones seventh on the season off a pass from sophomore Eric Gluck. The Bullets got on board just over two minutes later and tied the game at 2-all in the 52nd minute before Gluck and Jones paired up again to put Swarthmore ahead 3-2 with 15 minutes to play - Gluck caught a breakaway pass from Jones for her fourth goal of the season. Gettysburg wasted no time and tied the game once again just under a minute later.

Senior Anne Rosenblatt tallied the first goal for Swarthmore in the 34th minute off a penalty corner pass from junior Abigail Lauder and senior Aarti Rao.

Between the pipes, senior goalkeeper Gabby Capone made 11 stops in the effort. Alexis Bralow made eight stops for the Bullets.

Swarthmore returns to play on Thursday, October 10th at Eastern University.
