Box Score GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Swarthmore College field hockey team fell to Gettysburg College, 4-3, on a late goal Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference action.
The Bullets (5-4, 1-3 CC) scored all four of its goals in the second half to complete the comeback defeat over Swarthmore (2-9, 0-5 CC). The game-winning goal came with 1:49 remaining in the game from Samantha Wright.
Swarthmore went up 2-0 seven minutes into the second half with
Nia Jones seventh on the season off a pass from sophomore Eric Gluck. The Bullets got on board just over two minutes later and tied the game at 2-all in the 52nd minute before Gluck and Jones paired up again to put Swarthmore ahead 3-2 with 15 minutes to play - Gluck caught a breakaway pass from Jones for her fourth goal of the season. Gettysburg wasted no time and tied the game once again just under a minute later.
