SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Led by senior outside hitter Danielle Sullivan with 15 kills and 14 digs, the Swarthmore College volleyball team earned a straight-set victory over Centennial Conference opponent Bryn Mawr (25-23, 25-16, 25-21) on Tuesday evening from Tarble Pavilion. 

Prior to the match, three Garnet seniors were honored for their dedication to the volleyball program - Sullivan, outside hitter Maggie Duszyk and middle blocker Brone Lobichusky have been key contributers to the team throughout all four years at Swarthmore and will leave their mark in the program recordbook. 

In a close match from start to finish, Swarthmore improved to 13-10 and 2-5 in conference play, while Bryn Mawr dropped to 11-14 and 1-7 in conference. The Garnet have claimed its fifth straight victory over the Owls.

Sophomore Madison Heppe anchored the Garnet defense with 19 digs - including 10 in the decisive third set. Duszyk earned 10 digs and four kills in the match, while sophomore Sam DuBois finished with 14 digs. 

On attack, sophomore Anastasia White-Torruellas swung 10 kills, Lobichusky finished with eight and DuBois collected 32 assists. 

For the Owls, Rachel Ofili collected 14 kills and Sarah Gates swung 10 in the effort. Danielle Preziuso finished with 30 assists and 15 digs, while Zoe Holman and Samanth Abbott earned 15 and 12 digs, respectively. 

Swarthmore will finish its regular season on the road beginning with a tri-match on Saturday, October 26 at Haverford College with the Fords and Messiah. Action begins at 11:00 a.m.

Next week, the Garnet travel to Ursinus on Wednesday and conclude the regular season at Muhlenberg in a tri-match with the Mules and Moravian.
