SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Led by three wins from sophomore Supriya Davis, the Swarthmore women's swim team dominated the pool on Saturday as they beat beat Cabrini in non-conference action, 119-74.
Davis took first in the 200 freestyle (1:58.81), 200 butterfly (2:10.93) and 200 IM (2:19.70) to make up three of the Garnet's thirteen individual wins in a clean sweep of the individual events. Other multiple winners for Swarthmore were sophomore Kate Wiseman, who completed a sweep of the sprint freestyle events (25.73 and 56.35), freshman Jessica Seigel, who took first in the 500 (5:36.18) and 1000 (11:21.78) freestyle, and junior Margaret Regan, who won the 100 breaststroke (1:12.91) and 400 IM (4:59.92).
The remainder of the events were taken by freshman Nikkia Miller (200 breaststroke, 2:37.67), junior Rebecca Teng (100 backstroke, 1:04.19), freshman Eva Winter (200 backstroke, 2:26.15), and senior Hannah Gotwals (100 butterfly, 1:05.58).
Swarthmore also swept the relays, taking the top three spots in the 200 medley relay and finishing 1-2 in the 400 freestyle relay.
The Garnet returns to the pool on Wednesday, taking on Conference rival Washington College at home. Action is set to begin at 6 pm.
