CLAREMONT, Calif. - Senior Kenyetta Givans of the Swarthmore College women's track & field team ended her illustrious collegiate career finishing 21st in the 100 meter hurdles at the Division III National Champsionships with a time of 17.40.
Givans finished seventh in her preliminary heat, won by Tiarra Goode of Birmingham Southern, the eventual national champion.
This was the second overall NCAA Championship selection for Givans and her first NCAA Outdoor Championship. She holds the Swarthmore school-record time of 14.52 in the 100 hurdles.
Givans also is the Swarthmore record holder in the 55 meter hurdles, 60 meter dash, 60 meter hurdles and 400 meter hurdles outdoors and will graduate on Sunday with a degree in Biology.
