Anita Deasey is entering her 9th year as an assistant coach with the Swarthmore Lacrosse team. 

A graduate of Lower Merion High School, in Ardmore, Pa. and Ursinus College, Deasey played field hockey, basketball and lacrosse at both schools.  She is a member of the Ursinus College Athletics Hall of Fame and has previously coached at the Episcopal Academy, Ursinus College, including being a part of two NCAA D3 National Championships, and Harriton High School.  

Deasey recently retired from the Lower Merion School District after teaching 35 years.
