Bhavin Parikh enters his sixth season as head coach at Swarthmore this fall after assisting for three seasons. He brings a wealth of badminton experience to the Garnet, having coached the Drexel (Pa.) Badminton Club and the Police Academy School in Baroda, India.

Parikh has competed on many levels, serving as captain of the Drexel team while obtaining a B.S. in Management Information Systems at the University. Parikh began competitve badminton while a student at Maharaja Savajirao University in Baroda, India.  In 2008, Parikh organized the USA Badminton National Collegiate Championships at Swarthmore and saw the top Garnet doubles team advance to the finals. 

Parikh currently works full-time at Independence Blue Cross in Valley Forge, Pa. as a systems analyst.
