Morgan Langley '11 Signs Professional Soccer Contract with Harrisburg City Islanders
HARRISBURG, Pa. - Morgan Langley '11 of the Swarthmore College men's soccer team has signed a professional contract with the Harrisburg City Islanders of the USL PRO League, the team announced on Thursday afternoon.

Men's Soccer to Host 9th Annual Charity Youth Soccer Clinic
SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore College Garnet men's soccer team - the 2010 Centennial Conference Champions - will host the 9th Annual Charity Youth Soccer Clinic on Sunday, January 30th, 2011. The charity clinic, the proceeds of which will benefit the Genocide Intervention Network, runs from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in Swarthmore's Lamb-Miller Field House. In addition to learning basic skills, such as passing, dribbling, and defending, the children will play small-sided matches against each other during the afternoon.

With the win, the Garnet (13-1-2, 6-0-2) secure the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Centennial Conference playoffs and home-field advantage for the event. 2010 Men's Soccer Season Preview
SWARTHMORE, Pa. – For the Swarthmore College men’s soccer team, the 2009 season had everything needed for a storybook season - everything but the perfect ending. After recording one of the best regular seasons in program history and once again reaching the NCAA Sweet 16 in dramatic fashion, the Garnet’s season ended in heartbreak, losing to lower-seeded Transylvania on penalty kicks. But that heartbreak is fuel for the 2010 team, which hopes to fight for another Centennial Conference championship and advance past the Round of 16 for the first time in over 30 years.
