HAVERFORD, Pa.--At Saturday's Keogh Invite, Swarthmore College Women's Track & Field finished in second place with a total score of 74 points.
Claire Conley led all competitors in the shot put with a throw of 12.71m.
The Garnet finished second in both the 4x200 and 4x400 relays.
Kayla Camacho,
Becky Tang,
Lauren Holt and Jennifer Beltran ran the 4x2 in 1:53.40, and Camacho, Beltran,
Sydney Covitz and
Louise Rosler ran the 4x4 in 4:14.41.
Jillian Haywood and
Sarah Dobbs both recorded points for Swarthmore in the 3000 meters. Haywood finished second (10:52.34) and Dobbs came in seventh (11:44.31).
Lilly Price,
Irina Bukharin, Hannah Gutow and
Phoebe Whiteside all earned points in the mile by finishing in the top nine.
Naomi Bronkema finished in fifth at the high jump, clearing the bar at 1.38m.
Covitz took fifth in the 800m (2:24.41).
Camacho came in third in the 60 and the 400 and then sixth in the 200.
Swarthmore will go for the gold on Friday and Saturday in the Centennial Conference Championship at Ursinus College.
