SWARTHMORE, Pa.--Swarthmore College student-athletes, coaches and staff have been volunteering at Hilltop Elementary School this semester, helping kindergarteners and first graders with reading and arts and crafts. The community project is organized by volleyball head coach Harleigh Chwastyk and assistant coach Cecily Scavicchio who is a teacher at the school.

With college classes canceled for fall break, Swarthmore fall teams were able to send an even larger group than normal to assist the elementary school buddies in their classroom activities.
